Carter is 3!
Can't believe our big boy is three! To celebrate we had a Monster Truck Bash in our back yard on the day before his birthday. Carter had so much fun setting up the water table, putting up decorations, and having his friends over! Jack enjoyed the festivities as well and I think thought it was his birthday too! Carter added numerous monster trucks to his collection, which both the boys love and had a great time celebrating his big day.

Myrtle Beach for Mother's Day
We were so privileged to have Mimi here for Mother's Day Weekend and the week before. We took a one night trip down to Myrtle Beach for the weekend and it was so fun! Unfortunately, we used my mom's camera most of the time, and I forgot to get them on my computer before she left, so I don't have that many good pictures. However, we loved having Mimi here. She was such a great help as usual and the boys could not stop talking about her when she left. Carter absolutely loved the beach & pool. He could not get enough and wore himself and Dad out entirely! Jack was a little more reserved. He wasn't sure he liked walking on the sand and the sun was awfully bright at times, but he loved being outside and playing in the heated kiddie pool! He is our little fish and loves to dive in without hesitation. Hopefully I can get a few more pics soon so show off the weekend a little more!

Put the fire out!
Recently, there has been an obsession with spraying. Anything and everything that could possibly be imagined to spray water, the boys try to. So this was a cute "in costume" moment I couldn't pass up documenting!

Elaine Visits!
Elaine drove by herself all the way from Columbus, Ohio to visit us at the end of April. We had a great time and she got to witness our chaos first hand! One day we went on a hike with the boys. I was so impressed how well they did, Carter walked the whole 1.3 mile trail and Jack was in the back pack for half, but also walked the other half! Afterwards, we stopped at the peach stand and got their first ice cream cones! Carter was a big fan and claimed it made him feel a lot better, because he was really tired. Jack took a few licks, but then could care less about it! We loved having Elaine here as another playmate. Jack kept calling her mimi and was thoroghly confused, but Carter made her endure book after book about Lightning McQueen. I think she knew the whole story by the time she left without even seeing the movie!

Discovery Place Kids
We got an opportunity to go to the Children's Museum for free this past week. I was a little nervious taking both boys by myself because I knew it would be crowded, but the boys were on their best behavior the entire time and made it so simple for me. We had so much fun!
